With the vast volume of questions raised here, I would guess more than all other forums combined, I have to think there must be many ubonjoes.

however he/they do a great job and remain patient in the face of what must be umpteenplicated questions.

mmm, some time ago I corresponded with a guy in US over a GPS problem. Whatever time of the night or day, he always replied within minutes.

I said to him,"You don't get out much ?"

He replied "I have no legs"..his reply still haunts me.

I hope people appreciate his patience and consise information and advice.

We are very lucky to have him. He never gives the "it's been answered many times before if you would just take the time to search" reply. I don't know why those people just don't reply if it bothers them. Sometimes searches do come up empty and this immigration stuff is sometimes very worrisome to some. Thanks Joe and the many others who take the time to help people who have a need with their great knowledge.

Ubonjoe is in fact a visa software developed under the auspices of Thai Visa and Immigration of Thailand. cheesy.gif

It is indeed refreshing to have someone to respond to enquiries without judgment or snide comments. ThaiVisa could use more knowledgeable resources like UbonJoe.

I have looked on here now and again.

Ubonjoe's advice is always accurate and non-judgemental.

A huge asset to this forum.

I think he deserves an award for his dedication.

Have a Nice Day.

I think he deserves an award for his dedication.

What is the prize?

Sent from my GT-N7105 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Prize....head of immigration.....don't forget the Work Permit Joe!

Who can draw up the most convoluted query for joe ? , just for fun ! A kind of amalgam of the stuff he deals with with equanimity.

If he was a company he would be skint , he very kindly gives all his information for free

I hope he gets some compensation.

From the frequency of his responses I would think he does this full time.

Experts are needed here and they deserve to get paid. (My opinion)

Give Joe a bonus $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I always found Ubonjoe and Litebeer to give straight forward information, without any unnecessary comments at times when I almost hesitated to ask just because of the bashing and "use google", that some other members love to use as an argument to not use the forum for what it's intended to. This is a huge forum, the search engine is great, but laws change constantly, and many of us do worry when we are taking new steps for new kind of visas.

Without their help I would probably not have all sorted out by now, but now I can finally relax. All my gratitude to both of you!

Apparently the inventor smashed the mould after they saw the prototype result :P

This is one thing, that is common to every forum I have been involved with...some <deleted> has to get on with the "do a search" response. For the same effort they could have provided a link, or a useful answer...or a claynlr suggested, just keep their piehole shut.

Many forums do not have decent search engines...ThaiVisa is hit n miss sometimes also.

The two aforementioned members (Ubonjoe and Litebeer) have helped me several times with Immigration-related questions. In return I try to post a narrative of the experience that drove my query (e.g. Extension of Stay renewal). I hope my contributions are useful.

Ubonjoe should be offered an online advisory job by Immigration!

Does his homework and plays well with others.

I thought he was a computer program that Thai immigration dreamed up to get us sorted out.

Turns out to be human.

I think most of the questions are FROM Immi

I do agree, after couple days surfing on the forum to try and find answers related to my recent post, that Ubonjoe has always straight to the point answers. This is nice.

Hello

Ubonjoe has been very informative and helpful.

I'm sure we're lucky to have him here.

I often wonder what Joe looks like & what type real life personality he has. A good man no doubt

Paz deserves an honorable mention
