tolsti Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 I am in BKK from 7th October to 22nd October and whilst chatting with a former colleague who lives there I mentioned that I was thinking of visiting Angkhor Wat during my stay. Whilst not a backpacker I haven't got that much to splash out either so I would appreciate and gudance based on experience that is out there. Is it best to do it as a package tour (and all that that entails) or is it easy to set up privately. I understand direct flights are in the 12000 Baht range but have been told it is cheaper to drop down to KL and then direct from there. Any recommendations would be gratefully accepted.
