John1012
Can someone please give me a step by step guide to getting a blue & yellow housebook for a house that I wish to build on land that I have a usufruct for? Thankyou.
claffey
I could be wrong but you probably need to bring all your documentation to the local Amphur (District) Office. I think they usually deal with House books.
steve187
The house book comes after the house is built, and before the permanant electric meter is fitted, house plans are needed unless small house on small plot, well in Rayong anyway. books issued as post 2 above

Langsuan Man
Start with the building permit from you local tessa ban and once the house is completed then you can apply for a " blue house book" which is basically giving the house a physical address, a requirement for utilities and mail delivery. Even though the house will have a "blue" book, as a foreigner you may be listed as the "owner" but you will not be listed as a resident in that blue book You may apply for a yellow book, it is not automatic as the above poster implies, and whether or not it is of any value is a whole different subject and is covered here at TV in numeous separate threads, just do a search
