MJP
Is this topic about Facebook Pot Dealers getting nabbed OR about the why and wherefores of illegal drug use? Seems to me a lot of "off topic" comments going on in here Thank you. Tell me about about it. I've never had to remove so many posts on a thread before. Again . . . Forum rule number 3) You will not post about activities or links to websites containing such material that are illegal in Thailand. This includes but is not limited to: gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing, file sharing of pirated material, pyramid schemes, etc. Discussion of the above is permitted only as news items, but never as a "how to" topic. axact
The real issue here is why Facebook didn't remove the page and why it took the police a year to find it when they seem to find Facebook pages anti the Junta in days ? One wonders if they knew who were higher in the supply chain. The arrested were sitting targets, the police could have watched them in order to arrest those higher up. Often police target low levels dealers as they are an easy target and gives the public the impression they are fighting the war on drugs when the reality is somewhat different. Trying to arrest those higher up, that is smart farang thinking!
toooa
<script type='text/javascript'>window.mod_pagespeed_start = Number(new Date());</script> " two books containing names of customers"Oops. There might be a couple more apartments for rent in the near future. he and his wife had little education and few job prospects... It is not really surprising no one would give them a job if they also proved to be dead stupid in job interviews. If there's more trouble in the economy plenty will take their place... robblok
Damm would be bad if your a customer, however if you make sure you don't have the stuff anymore and don't use for a while there is nothing they can do. I would stop using for a long while as they might just check you again. But that is the thing about dealing.. you want to be secretive but on the other hand you need to be known to sell your wares. That is why its so dangerous and almost all get caught eventually.

Generally it is crap, but I have been surprised before....I think the good stuff is Lao and because of Draconian laws, I don't really use in Thailand, but over the year plus I have spent in Lao, it was pretty much a free for all and though still technically illegal, it seems pretty much defacto legal and I haven't often heard of Lao cops busting people for weed (maybe in the old Vang Vieng days) Edited November 20, 2014 by Smurkster
