Retirement Visa Extension - Chaeng Wattana. Any News?

Are there any new regulations/requirements for retirement visa extension in Chaeng Wattana.

As far as I recall, one needs to produce:

1. Passport (and photocopy)

2. Letter from the Bank and photocopy of the Bank book (min. 800k THB).

3. The filled extension form.

Anything else?

There have been no changes to apply for an extension of stay (visas are not extended) based upon retirement.

You should get the bank letter on the same day you apply. Most banks have branches in the basement at CW that will do the letter.

I cannot correct the title other than minor changes. It creates problems for searches.
