So gambling is now legal on TV?

Get a life.

We have a common interest.

We are discussing one of the greatest sporting animals the world has seen.

We are discussing the biggest horse race in Australia

Thai Visa is not supporting or encouraging Betting or gambling.

Get a life.

lol rather ironic someone who lives on TV replying to thing not even concerning him. telling someone to get a life.

Asking for tips? Discussing gambling.

I don't have as many posts as you but probabky been a member twice as long.

NO-ONE is talking about gambling.

Please show me one posts that mentions it.

No need to make this personal. Curious to know what makes you think I 'live' on TV.

So, because you joined 6 years before I did ... proves what?

But, as I said, if you want to make it personal ... bring it on.

Pathetic ... get a life.

Come on mate ... 10 posts can take only a short time , where do you get off telling someone who you haven't met about how long he spends with his family. Get a life abnd go and complain to someone who cares . I am sure David doesn't neither do I. Get a life you drongo...

And which transliteration you use that you can state that it is the definitive one?

Rather suspect that article. Cantonese would have been the predominant flavor of the Chinese language spoken at that time and by the dictionary is lightning is nowhere near far lap. Wikipaedia quotes a source giving it as Zhuang which is part of the Tai group and is unlikely to be one spoken in Melbourne but differing signifigently. Australian Chinese resturants then were primarily Cantonese.

Draft horse. Is that one that delivers beer, pulling a cart? Saw Black Caviar at Royal Ascot a few years back (on the telly and not from the Royal Box - my invite got lost in the post). Great horse, lousy jockey. See the Melbourne Cup was won by a German trained horse with an English jockey. Ryan Moore (the jockey) has won more prize money touring the world in 3 weeks than he won in the previous 5 months in England.
