GSM Coverage Khao Sok

Featured Replies

Hey. Need a SIM Card for our thailand trip. Will stay 10 days and need about 500MB traffic, no calls, no sms. Will travel to Khao Sok National Park, which company will have the best coverage there or is there no signal anyway?

Which whould be the best package for me? Always used the free SIM cards from the airport in the past, I guess it was Truemove. Is there anything better for my needs?

Will also travel to Koh Yao Noi, but I guess coverage will not be a problem there with any provider.

Khao Sok has coverage unless you are out on one of the floating "hotels", or out in the lake somewhere. No worries.

All companies are available in the park?

Will I get a "DTAC Happy on Trinet SIM card" at BKK airport for the original 49THB or are they only selling tourist SIM cards there?

Can't help you very much, other than we hve DTAC and had coverage there other than out in the middle of the lake.

I Managed a hotel in Khao sok DTAC provides a better signal

Great, thank you.

Will I get a standard SIM card at Suvarnabhumi Airport or just the Tourist SIM Card?

Planing to buy the 49THB DTAC SIM and activate the 1GB Internet package for 199THB/30days (Shortcut *104*26*9#dial). Are the prices at http://www.dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/products/happy-internet-package.html including VAT, so can I top up just 200THB and activate the package?
