Russia promises all-out effort to facilitate MH17 probe, says Najib

BANGKOK: -- Russia has pledged that it would do everything in its power to facilitate the investigation into the Malaysia Airlines' flight MH17 crash over eastern Ukraine in July, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said, as reported by New Straits Times.

BANGKOK: -- A huge fire broke out before dawn Wednesday at the SVI Public Company Limited’s (SVI) electronic product manufacturing plant in Bangkadi Industrial Estate in Pathumthani on Tiwanond road forcing the evacuation of hundreds of workers from the compound.

Security in Yala remains tight after tipoff

YALA, 12 November 2014 (NNT)- Soldiers in the southern province of Yala continue to patrol and check every passing vehicle and people to assure safety for local residents.


According to the report, security units in Bannangsata district, Yala province have continued to search suspicious vehicles and question individuals entering the district in the wake of recent attacks in the surrounding areas.

Protection for local residents and those at risks has been assured during this time. The soldiers have also been tipped of about the movements of insurgents who plan to instigate violence in various areas.

NLA unanimously approves animal hospital bill

BANGKOK, 12 November 2014 (NNT) - The National Legislative Assembly has unanimously approved of the animal hospital bill.


The assembly yesterday discussed the 3rd reading of the animal hospital bill as presented by the special committee without any proposed amendments. The assembly then voted 185 to 0 with 4 abstentions to pass the bill.

The bill consists of 16 articles, including the details of permits in establishing animal hospitals and the amendment to the application fee in applying for an animal hospital purpose.

The bill will take effect after it has been published in the royal gazette.

A former Democrat party MP of Samut Sakhon province Kanchit Tabsuwan was sentenced to death by Samut Sakhon Privincial Court after he was found guilty in the gun attack that resulted in the death of the Samut Sakhon provincial administration organisation Udorn Kraiwatnusorn in 2511.

The court granted him temporary release after his lawyer posted land title deed as bail.

Cabinet makes domestic tourism national agenda
