photo size

4 * 6 cm is stated on the application for extension (TM7) at Thai immigration (unusually big).

Just checked the Berlin website, they say 3,5 * 4,5 cm (and from the last 6 months) for visa application form.

Thats adopted to the size used for German passport photos.

The form from Savannakhet looks like a 4 * 6 cm would be too big.

Maybe scissors will help as long as the face remains fully visible.

One of the two "PHOTO" frames in the Savannakhet form is only about 3 * 3,8 cm based on A4 paper format.

Has anyone recently gone to Savannakhet and remember their picture size? The 4x5.25cm that I have seem large for the space to glue on the application form.

I have smaller ones that fit in the black lines specified to put pictures.

From other posts it's mentioned "passport size" no dimensions but it seems big.

Anyone remembers what they used at the thai consulate at Savannakhet?

Every consulate and embassy is different so I'm asking specifically about Savannakhet

Passport size to me is 2" X 2" but some are now 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm which is the size Vientiane wants.

See: http://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/docs/Photo%20Requirement.pdf

Vientiane's requirements will look familiar to anybody that has looked at the UK passport photo requirements because it is the same one. The sample photos are identical.
