When is 90 day reporting due, after enter Thailand?

Featured Replies

Just want to double check that I have this right. I'm on a non-imm 'O', and was supposed to do a 90day report around 26th Sep, but I was out of the country then.

I re-entered Thailand on 6th October, so it means I have to do my next report, 90days after the 6th Oct. Is this correct?

are you on a yearly extension or a non 'o' 'a' visa if so then the 90 days was reset on entry. so you are correct.

If you are on a non 'o' visa then you were stamped in for 90 days, so you will have to leave then or if you extend, you will then require a 90 day report

Yes.

I was out of Thailand for just over 2 months, and returned just before my normal 90 day was due.

Being this was my first time out, I went to Imm Office on the original date anyway just to be sure. Both the Officers told me no need, come back 90 days after the date I re-entered Thailand at Swampy.

90 day report is due if you stay longer then 90 days in the Kingdom.

The time starts when you enter the the Kingdom, the day you enter counts as day one.

The report can be made 15 days and until 7 days after that date if you report in person.

Be aware that a non - O visa only gives you 90 days permission of stay for each entry so if you are not on yearly extension of stay or on a non O-A visa you do not have to report, you have to leave the Kingdom every 90 days.

I'm on a yearly extension of a non-o visa, so 90days report due after date of re-entry. Thanks all !

And, when reporting by mail (if this is allowed by your local immigration office), you will need to post your completed TM47 (together with passport & departure card copies plus original of previous notification slip and self-addressed envelope bearing a 5 THB stamp for the new notification slip) by EMS in sufficient time to ensure receipt at your local immigration office at least 7 days before the due date.

However, if (as I strongly suspect) you have never had to submit a 90-day report before now, it would probably be better to go in person for the first time at any rate.

My Extension of Stay Based on Retirement was issued September 23, 2014, my first 90-day report date was (is?) December 22, 2014; there was a slip of paper stapled to my Departure Card with this date. I also received a Mulitple-Entry Re-Entry Permit on September 23, 2014.

I left Thailand on September 29, 2014, and returned October 9, 2014.

Did this “Re-Entry” on October 9, 2014 re-set my first 90-day report date?

That is to say, does my 90-day report date remain December 22, 2014, or is it now January 7, 2015 (+/-, ~ 90 days from October 9, 2015)?

And if it is now January 7, 2015, how many days before and after this date can I report?

Yes, when you left Thailand it reset the 90 day report date to 90 days since entering Thailand again. (The day you enter is day 1, so add 89 days to that).

You can do a 90 day report up to 15 days before the report date or 7 days after including the report date in the count.
