I want some of the flexible drainage pipe 3" to 5" diameter or so for some wet spots on the farm. The stuff with thousands of little holes. It is called Draincoil in some countries. Every shop I ask says "Mai Me" It must be in use in construction here if not farming as well. Every Home improvement/hardware shop has it in the Western countries. Chonburi or Bangkok as a second choice for me to get to easily.

The dealers who sell water pumps for irrigation have fexible plastic pipe for connecting pump to well head and/or irrigation system (no holes/perforations) 2 inch up to 6 inch size.. Could you drill the holes yourself? just a idea if you can not find exactly what you want.

What you have pictured may have been orginally made for a septic tank drain field you might try someone who does that kind of work or sells eqiptment to do the instalation.

If you are doing a straight run,the blue pVC with holes drilled in it would work, finding a permeable membrane to cover the pipe ,stop sediment blocking the holes could be a problem, gravel backfill ,no problem.

Have you thought about a mole plough,I do not think you can buy one here ,but a local guy could make one, have a look at google, give you some ideas,for a plan,try the FAO web sights.

On heavy land a mole would last a couple of years ,light land ,maybe a year.

Yes. Everyone offers me pressure hose. It is heavy & stiff in comparison to proper draincoil & drilling 10,000 holes would be a boring job. I know mole-ploughing too but not for my situation for various reasons. The real stuff is light, flexible and made with holes in it and is extensively used in the west in construction, to keep water away from foundations as well as farming & landscaping where-ever water control is necessary. Look at Utube under "French drain." or Google Images "drainage pipe" It must be here somewhere, but definitely not in most small country stores. Rice sacks will provide the semi-permeable membrane between the pipe & crushed rock fill. I need it to be flexible to go where I want it. Yes the locals here drill holes in ordinary PVC pipe & put strainers on the end. I know that. Cheap & simple but needs straight lines. I am sure it is here somewhere. Just waiting for someone to give me a supplier. PS It is also made without holes for a flexible water conduit & I think one of my pix shows that stuff. Anyone interested look at the Utube or google links i suggest. Does anyone have commercial construction links with anyone in Bangkok?
