ezzra
That would have not been possible in Thailand, as the wife would have skedaddled long, long time ago with a new BF and the hubby would find comfort in a mia noy's arm...

Chonburiram
First kid at 34? I call this BS. Avoid to get pregnant for 13+ years, before condoms and pill? Strange indeed. Edited November 20, 2014 by Chonburiram

Costas2008
Isn't that sweet? I wish them many more years to live together. Keep telling the wife that I will die at the age of 110............just to make her grumpy for the rest of the day
Seastallion
First kid at 34? I call this BS. Avoid to get pregnant for 13+ years, before condoms and pill? Strange indeed. It might very well mean "oldest surviving son", or it may ignore that they have a few older daughters. I have no reason to think it's BS. Japan's Okinawa has quite a few people older than either of them....but this is a couple.
loongdavid
"When Ping was born at the start of the 20th century, Theodore Roosevelt was U.S. President and King Edward VII had only just recognised the office of UK Prime Minister". A ridiculous statement meaning absolutely nothing factual.

chickenslegs
Pair with combined age of 217. If you saw that headline in the Pattaya News you would have to conclude that the chap was at least 199.
MexicanFarang
I assume this has been verified with birth certificates? If so, they must live in a cave in the desert in the North. Because I would think a birth certificate made of rice paper and written with brush and ink in the hot, humid climate of the coast would no longer be legible....
