Damaz6052
I am applying for my first extension of my multi entry visa which I received at Savannakhet. At Phuket Town Immigration. Do I need anything more than a TM7? Thanks
ubonjoe
Visa are not extended. Only a permit to stay can be extended. You can apply for the extension during the last 30 days of any of your 90 day entries you get from the visa. There is a lot more needed than the TM7 form. Do you have financial proof of 400k baht in a Thai bank in your name only for 60 days or proof of 40k baht income? Your wife will have to be with you when you apply to do a statement. You will need 2 completed TM7 forms with copies of the following attached to both of them. Marriage certificate and a Kor Ror 2 marriage registry. Copies of you wife's house book and ID card. Copies of your passport pages and TM6 departure card. Map to your house. Photos of you and your wife in and around the house. One photo must you both showing the house number. Proof of residence unless you are living where your wife's house book is for. You may also need a copy of your affirmation of permit to marry you gave the Amphoe when you go married. There could be additional things that Phuket immigration may want. You should check with them to get their requriements.
Mario2008
The multiple non-O only allows you to stay in Thailand for 90 days at a time and after that you have to leave (or apply for an extension of stay as described above). If you do not want to get an extension you need to leave Thailand and can re-enter the same day for another 90 days.

PoorSucker
Thanks. I have to supply this even though I don't live here? You can not get an 1 year extension of stay if you don't live here. You can get 60 days to visit your wife. From Police order 138/2557 2.24 In the case of visiting a spouse or children who are of Thai nationality: Each permission shall be granted for no more than 60 days. 1. Application form. 2. Copy of applicants passport. 3. Copy of household registration certificate. 4. Copy of national ID card of the person having Thai nationality. 5. Copy of a marriage certificate or copy of a birth certificate.
ubonjoe
You asked about doing an extension and that is the requirements to get one. You can get a 60 day extension with just your wife being with you and copies of her house book and ID card. You must leave the country every 90 days to get a new entry or at the end of the 60 day extension.
Damaz6052
Thanks understand. Hopefully they accept house book and ID card. Do you know which police order this is? ubonjoe
It is clause 2.24 of immigration order 327/2557. The documents required from 138/2557 was posted earlier. Immigration does them all the time so it should not be a problem to get a 60 day extension. You probably will need proof of residence to prove you are living in Phuket. Mario2008
And the wife needs to come with you. The extension is applied for at the office for the region where she lives.

Damaz6052
Phuket Immigration would only give a maximum of 7 days. Is this a new ruling? You asked about doing an extension and that is the requirements to get one. You can get a 60 day extension with just your wife being with you and copies of her house book and ID card. paz
Phuket Immigration would only give a maximum of 7 days. Is this a new ruling? From you personal experience? If so, have you been given a reason? Have you accepted and paid Bt 1,900 ?
