November 24, 201411 yr better to keep the devil you know than get one you donnt know Hmmmm....i disagree if you do not mind.
November 24, 201411 yr Not thai wife but thai gf 1 for the last 6 years getting married is shit and I like it the way it is just walk away when I like and she can do the same with no bull shit .
November 24, 201411 yr 2 (and that was 2 too many.....) I may be getting old ... but didn't you go through 3 of them? Maybe one of them wasn't Thai. ... or my memory fades.
November 24, 201411 yr What about the wife? How many western men she had before you? Sssssstttt.....all married into well educated hiso thai chinese families....on this forum at least.
November 24, 201411 yr 1 Lasted less than a month. When you wrote that ... I 'ed I had this impression ...
November 24, 201411 yr After "I am here longer than you"... Here comes "I had more Thai wifes than you"...
November 24, 201411 yr I may be getting old ... but didn't you go through 3 of them? Maybe one of them wasn't Thai. Yes, 3 in total if you include non-Thai. My first wife (Irish) was a good match, together for 20 years. But when illness forced me away from the UK climate, she decided not to come. As for the Thai wives... hmmm...less said the better
November 24, 201411 yr Getting married is for suckers. It may seem so when you are younger, but when you start to get older having a good Thai wife, daughters, and extended family to take care of you is better than any of the fun you had in earlier days in Thailand.
November 24, 201411 yr Popular Post 1.5 for me. I was waiting for someone to include their Mia Noi ... Costas will be around later to mention his wife and his 2 or 3 dozen badgers. Apparently they all sleep in one massive bed. He's been quiet recently. Must be wroking hard to feed all those little mouths. . Sipi, just answering your OP, got 1 wife............for the moment................. Just come back from Koh Samet where I took her for a long weekend and for the information of the other gentlemen, I didn't take any of my livestock with me. Just packed her in the suitcase along with the swimming trunks, 10 T shirts, 5 pairs of shorts and my tuxedo and off we went..........mine doesn't weight 150 kilos My intention was to dive in there for oysters (plenty of them.......farang and Thai.........but she kept a sharp eye on me. Where did she find those blinkers for me?.......I would never know. Anyway, after showing my muscular body around the beach, to the admiration of thousands of chicks, I sat down and build a sand castle and I got a pat on the head for that from her. Next time I'm going alone.
November 24, 201411 yr Once bitten twice shy. Still married to the one that bites BTW.................................
November 24, 201411 yr I'm on my second. It's been 5 years this time, last one lasted 5 years. This one looks like a keeper though. Wish me luck.
November 24, 201411 yr Welcome back Costas, i would imaging that Koh Samet would not have allowed you bring your livestock onto the island. Sounds like you had a nice weekend, will be a busy one for you this week attending your menagerie
November 24, 201411 yr One thing I am 100% sure of....IF, and I hope not, I need to find another wife, she will NOT have kid baggage......100% sure...
November 24, 201411 yr Author Costas. You don't dive for oysters, you dive for crabs. Oysters are simply picked up using the appropriate tool. Some are stuck on more than others. Anyway. Thanks Gents for contributing. It seems, contrary to some ideas out there, that long term relationships are the norm in Thailand (with the exception of some understandable others, as you get everywhere); just as I suspected. Now, back to more important things; Costas oysters..
November 24, 201411 yr Author What about the wife? How many western men she had before you? Thank you for asking. She doesn't have a pinch on my farang "ex-wife", not even close..
November 24, 201411 yr Author one 2 go!!.........should \i be worried in case she goes down??? NO. Looks like the odds are stacked in your favor. All the best!
November 24, 201411 yr Author Thai wives: 0 Non-Thai wives prior: 0 ... although marriage is very popular in my family. Each of my siblings have done it at least twice. I hear you. My siblings married at least twice, as did my parents, step-parents, grand-parents. Strangely, I married once... Don't give up! Get yourself a good Thai lady.
