Sipi, I don't like full on Thai Massages much at all. I have tried a few and it feels like my body is being pummeled by a sure footed Clydesdale who has done some sadistic martial arts training.

But, I do get tight around the shoulders and upper back, and when single, no GF to do it for me. If i can find the right place, I'll have them work just that area.

If they asked me for a soapy, at least I know what that is. Better I know now...

An oil massage with a 'happy-ending': 800 baht

A soapy massage in BKK: 2,500+ baht

You can get a good one for around 1,000 in Chiang Mai, but a lot more likely to get a movie star type scrubbing you up in Bangkok or Pattaya.

Ok, so I am a enticed into writing a real answer even if there is a joke here. A soapy massage is offered only at such establishments; i.e., not at all massage places. The shop charges, first, a standard listed fee paid directly to the shop. Then, the process involves the customer disrobing and receiving a bath in a sit down bath tub with the massage attendant usually sitting in the tub also and washing the customer with liquid soap. All parts of the customer are washed and the extent of washing is partly described and requested by the customer.

After that, about 20 minutes, the customer is directed, wet, to lay down on an inflatable air mattress, usually, and the body is thoroughly soaped-and-watered. With the customer first face down, and then face up by turns, the attendant lays down on the customer, full length, and moves the attendant's body around in complete contact between the two bodies. Thus, the attendant uses his or her body to wash the customer.

After that approximately 20-30 minutes of that action, the attendant will rinse self and the customer thoroughly with clear water, removing the soap suds from both bodies. Then, the customer is thoroughly dried with a towel and directed to lay down on a nearby massage bed. The attendant then performs a massage on the customer there (as desired--soft, firm, strong by basic Swedish or Thai styles, oil or powder or at the customer's wants). That massage is similar to massages in other establishments and takes about 20 minutes. Then the customer is directed to get dressed, pay a tip, and depart the establishment.

Note, this is a One Hour session; a Two Hour session will extend each step accordingly. I wrote this to see if I could do it. I know the difference between "to lay down" and "to lie down" but prefer the colloquial version.
