My visa on arrival expire on the 6 december which is tomorrow and since today is father's day then immigration is closed. My question is can I make a 30 days extension on monday since the 6th is a day off.

My passport is french.

Go Monday, you shouldn't be penalised (apart from large queues).

Why did you not go earlier this week, there is no penalty for early extension?

By the way, you don't have a Visa on Arrival, these are limited to a few countries (most Indian sub-continent) and are for 15 days only, you have a Visa Exemption.

You can get extend you visa exempt entry on Monday and not pay an overstay fine of 500 baht per day. After Monday you will pay the 500 baht for every day after the 6th.

Just wanted to share my experience. Got there at 8:30 am finished by 9 am. No ticket asked, no 20k asked, no weird questions and 30 days granted.
