only a few days left on visa exemt. thinking of just going pnh return..

Featured Replies

So ive only got a few days left and ive decided to stay til after new years. 15 days by land by bus probably wont cut it so im thinking of just heading to phnom penh return as ive never been and il get my 30 days i need like that. Probably gonna be about 5-10k baht.

What would be my other options? Single entry non O? do i need to leave the country to get this? Im in bangkok.

If you have a visa exempt entry now you can get a 30 day extension of it at immigration. The fee will be 1900 baht.

On what basis would you get the non-o?

Oh well if I can get an extension then I guess that would do fine. Where do I go to to do that? Chaeng wattana? I've had a non imm o entry before but I got it outside the country I would get for purpose of tourism. Am I correct in thinking these are still available and that they are a single entry type o? 3 months.

Don't know much about visas apart from land and port exemptions.

I rarely stay more than a month, although I come and go frequently.

You can get the extension at CW or at any immigration office if you have a local address to put on the TM7 application form.

You could still fly out and back to get another 30 day entry if you wanted to.

You will not get a non-o visa for tourism now anywhere. You could get a single entry tourist visa that would give you a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days. In Laos you can get a 2 entry tourist visa.
