Hello all,

Just wondering when I can apply for a 30 day extension to my 60 day tourist visa.....

I fly into Bangkok and have about a week there, so to avoid having to go to an immigration office (say Samui) after about 58 days - can I get the extension straight away?

Or do I run the risk of the 30 days starting from when I apply?

All extensions must be applied in the last 30 days of allowed stay. it is added to the end so it make no difference when it's applied within said 30 days.

I've not been able to get an answer so far. So that clears it up for me......... and I can plan accordingly......
