tourist to non imm o malasia

hi i have a tourist visa, can anyone tell me if i can change this to a non immigrat o visa at an embassy or consulate in malasia to visit my family ie. my child (i am the legal father of the thai child by court order in thailand)

correct me if i am wrong but i have heard that this is not possible in the uk anymore.

Do you want a single or multiple entry visa? You can easily get a single entry visa.

There has been a report of Penang doing a multiple entry with financial proof.

Savannakhet will do it if you are the legal father of your child and demonstrate that your are living together with your child's mother as a family (De facto marriage). Having the mother and child with when you apply helps.

You could possibly get one in the UK but they will want proof you are living with your child. You would have to contact the embassy in London to find out their requirements.
