The Patience of Animals with Kids - Surprising !

This is the Family Farm Cat - Charkit

This is my boy just learning how to walk ... his very early steps.

For me, surprising just how comfortable the cat is acting as a dead weight on the seat,

and the amount of punishment he absorbs from my RugRat.

That said, he's grown up with the boys and, to my knowledge only lightly scratched one of them once.

How about Pets and Kids at your place?

Years ago, I was at a local off-leash park with my guy. He wasn't accustomed to kids, but never had a problem simply stepping aside when we met them on the street or they reached out from a pram.

Little one toddled up to him in the park. I expected perhaps grabbing an ear or his long hair, and my guy would turn away.

Bloody little kid actually grabbed hold of his panting tongue! My heart leapt in my chest. My guy simply slowly backed away and turned away.

Now that was much more patience and care of kids than I'd ever show!

Maybe Pets are more intuitive then we give them credit for.

Thanks for sharing – impressive patient cat.

How about Pets and Kids at my place...?

Today we have a dog living in the house that just moved out from our neighbor and into to our house, and since the neighbor has several other dogs they gave up (were probably tired of) collecting it every evening and said to my daughter that she could have the dog, if she wanted to; so now we consider the dog a family member.

When my daughter was small baby, she stayed at an Isaan farm with many animals, besides dog and cats, chickens/hens, geese, several cows and some calves – I presume one “cow” was a bull – and sometimes also a pig.

Great that kids get close to and used to animals...
