Hypothetically, yes.

Having said that, it's unlikely to happen unless there could be a way of monitoring the digital pikeys earnings.

I'd imagine in a world where governments are getting really thirsty for taxation Income this sort of undertheradar living would surely be in the sights of governments.

People not paying their income tax are nothing but a burden on the rest of society. No doubt they are the first ones to put their hand out for free healthcare, schooling for their inbred children and whatnot.
