It must be another apparent suicide. He just could not wait to get to the balcony.

I wonder how long it will take the police to rule out homocide?

Maybe youre right about this guy. I dont know of course. But the police gives us the suicide explanation thru media without an autopsy or investigation everytime.

Dont you think we hear too often about farangs bring upon their own death without some sort of assistance here in Bangkok?

Autopsy will take about 6 months...if foul play is suspected investigation will take 18 months...charges to be filed ohhh about 3 more years.

If he was murdered by a 'local' expect a conviction about 6 months after the next elections. smile.png Efficiency Thai style!

My sincere condolences to family and friends of the deceased.

I think it would be appropriate to refrain from ' Holmes & Watson ' comments as a gesture of decency to the family left behind.

Longer than some, apparently.

RIP. 34 is way too young to check out. Sad.

classic setup. with housekeeping coming in daily at most places leaving piles of white powder around is just not done

theres all kinds going through your room in bkk. maids, a/c maintenance all entering while your out. the concept of 'notice' is not practiced here.

i dont see anything un decent about holmes and watson type comments. nobody knows what happened and everyones asking questions. any critical analysis and people get nervous. i guess stupid comments are more entertaining to the brainless!

White powder, most likely cocaine, which is fairly well known for its ability to induce a heart attack.

Or possibly a mix up at the dealer and it was heroin and sold as coke. I know of 2 guys this happened to here, one woke up in hospital, the other never woke up.

I have a powdery white substance within a few feet of me. It is baking soda. If I dropped dead right now in my condo, what would appear in the press? Sometimes I attend parties with friends too. blink.png

Foreigner, white powder, Thonglo - that's all we need right now.

If I was working for the TAT, I would come up with the new slogan now:

Welcome to Thailand the hub of natural death's of farrang people from all nations!

Maybe he means his new "wife". I bet he has one.

Who said it was suicide?

Overdose. He was the boss of a friend of mine, had a history of drug problems apparently.

A "powdery white substance?"

Could it be foot powder? Prickly heat powder? Confectioner's sugar? Wheat flour? Coffee creamer? Laundry detergent? Chalk dust? Or...
