They went for the toyota avanza instead of proton after all.

what ever makes them happy......... drove one when they 1st came out in 2004. [No did not buy] more like a under powered truck/van to drive. of course it has a Toyota badge.. but for the same size and price would have thought the 'new' Honda Mobilio would have been better even with the older City engine and gearbox fitted [that keeps the price down].

    Have you considered the Captiva? I brought one for my wife 5 years ago, 65,000kms now, never any problems with it. I also think that the rear seating to make 7 seats is way better than the Fortuner.

    Highly unlikely we'll see a new Fortuner until 2016 now. As for American prices, stop looking at them now. No good can possibly come of it
