Hi, I have searched all over but can not seem to find out how long before ED visa expires one can apply for 7 day extension. Is it 15 days before like with other renewals?

It is best to apply just a few days before your permit to stay ends (not your visa expiration).

If you truly had a one year ED visa you could get almost 15 months from it by doing a border run to get an additional 90 day entry.

If you are doing 90 day extensions of stay for a 90 day single entry ED visa entry the most you could get would be 367 days with a 7 day extension.
