International Schools Pattaya Area

International Schools Pattaya Area - Considering moving to Pattaya soon but seems to be only one real acceptable option- ISR Regents School. They are out of their mind with their fees. 500K per year? Ouch. I have 3 kids of school age and that could leave a mark. How about 1.5 Million per year. My company does not pay towards anything let alone school tuition. What are the options? I have already ruled out the Wutichok/Int'l School of Pattaya due to poor reports and lack of enrollment, not to mention mixing kids of different ages in the same class.

With the extra fees Regents wants, the first year for my kids would cost a fortune.

If anyone has experience with Schools in Pattaya, please share your experience.

Thanks

International School Eastern Seaboard is another excellent choice in the Pattaya area, but unfortunately the fees are about the same. I have heard many good things about the St. Andrews School in the Rayong area. Many expat children from the Pattaya area attend. I don't know their fees, but I would assume they are lower. You may want to check out Garden International School as well. It is right in Pattya, but have heard mixed things about their quality. Good luck to you.

My daughter went to st Andrews and I must say I was very pleased with the whole set up.

As for fees 3 to 4 hundred thousand a year.

The garden international school in Ban Chang is cheeper and parents I know who sent there kids there were pleased with it.

they both have web sites you can find on google

(you would have the bonus of living in ban chang which isnt a bad thing)

My daughter is in ISE. (http://www.ise.ac.th) It's in the Barapha Golf club. I must say that they did a great job there. Everything's so well organised there. My daughter just love going to school and got so upset when there's no school.

And if you've got younger kids, try Montessori Children's

Centre. Heard a lot of good comments of them. It's for children between 3-9+ years old.

Best is probably your best option. The actual name is Burapha english program school of Thailand. They have a website. Best Pattaya. My son has gone their for four years and loves it. They do a prettygood job of teaching.

I agree with everything that Barry has said. Burapha (BEST) is the best in Pattaya.
