Does Thailand even do after Xmas sales? Last Christmas I was in bed for 3 days with food poisoning so I didn't notice.

i think from what i see locally the stores are always having a sales time some ridiculous claims of 50 thru 80 ~ p/cent off

but of course they don't have a system with which they have to prove the price before sale price

having said that in the u.k. i am sure that system is open to a fair bit of manipulation

THailand does not generally have significant sales for products.

3 baht off and etc. Maybe a buy one take one occasionally.

Android is the most popular operating system with better offerings phone wise

You could do some research of last year and look at the price at this time of the year compared to later on and see if things have changed much.

Absolutely! I love my iPad! Almost every factory in China has bad working conditions, not only Apple.. And tax-avoidance? That's what all big company's do, again, not only Apple.. If we should consider that all the time then there would be nothing left to buy

SO I just went to the ATM outside of Central, planning to go to iStudio, Banana IT, or Jaymart, which all carry the iPad Mini 2. Withdrew the 17000 baht it would cost me. Went into each of the stores and they don't have the 32GB model—the one I can afford, and the one I want. Apparently they only carry 16 and 64 GB.

Any of you (fellow) Apple geeks know where to find a 32GB model? I have this wad of cash I want to get rid of...

From my experience, I agree,...never saw an Apple sale. Would love to get a iPod nano on discount,...I need the discount to pay a welder to attach an eye-ring so I can string it around my neck. Just can't see walking around with it my hand all the time.

I bought a 32 iPad mini 1 when they were first introduced, it's great and can't be matched by other manufacturers offerings. My only comment is that I have vast amounts of photos, books, videos and other stuff on the iPad but Iv never used as much as half the space available on it.

For me .... I'll be buying a 16 iPad mini 3 as a new year replacement. Unless you anticipate playing and saving a whole heap of kids games or have some space devouring protects in mind .... I suggest that you do likewise.

Pop over to KL, on a visa run and buy the 32GB for 14,800 Baht for the Wi-Fi + cellular, ...or just 10,700 Baht for the Wi-Fi only.

Bloody good idea. Now to find out if KL offers double entry tourist visas back into bkk.

Agreed, not cool, way not cool, as you put it!.. But not as uncool as putting Samsung and word 'cool' in same sentence.

Get the new Sony Z3 Tablet Compact, it is 8 incher, cost about same as ipad, but man.. It is thinner than my Z1 phone, it was released in Thailand 2 weeks ago.

Just go look at it at Sony Center, I guarantee a mind blown!

If you really want an iPad, and there are better or as good alternative available cheaper, then go and get one. Bangkok doesnt recognize Christmas being a Buddist country so there are no January sales as such.

Apple priducts are price fixed and new models rarely if ever fluctuate in price.
