For he past 2 weeks, when I press the Forums button, I get this message.

"Thaivisa.com is not responding due to a long-running script"

Then I have to press "Stop Script" and the page reloads.

Has this something to do with my computer or Thai Visa?

Is there anything I can do to avoid this annoying situation?

Many Thanks

Costas

Costas, which browser are you using?

Internet Explorer (64 bit)

I think it's the Microsoft one.

It came with the Windows 7 installation.

Sorry George, I'm not very good with computers, hope this is the one I'm using.

If you are using IE then you should stop doing that. Download Firefox in your prefferd language and start playing with it. Microsoft 'make you a present' of IE and people just keep on using it.

Yes, ditch IE. Not only is it more hacker-prone, being MS and still used by most with PCs, but it is slow and a resource hog. I've also found Firefox a bit of a dog. Chrome is still the best out there, IMO, and you have obligatory spellchecker, etc

/ I'd also run a scan with the likes of Avast and Malwarebytes. //

You are not alone Costas I have the same problem since 2 weeks now

.

Look at post #6 in every thread, it tells you what is going on.

Quickly before this post is also removed for telling the truth.

I only see 'you might like this' in IE.

What a great difference

I switched to Chrome from yesterday and everything is running really smoothly.

No more delays or long running scripts.

Thank you very much George.thumbsup.gif

i am having the same issue, it only happens on TV and no other site, at times it freezes my internet browser for 2/3 minutes . I use IE and am quite happy with that and i am not going to change my browser for a problem that seems secific to this site. I am more likely to stop visiting the site while the problem persists. anyone got any other ideas as to how to solve this?

IE is bah.gif in my opinion. By far the best and easiest to use is Firefox. Use OPERA as a standby for any difficult download sites, it has noooo "gimmicks" attached. smile.png
