Question 90 days report via mail

Featured Replies

Hello TV friends,

This time I would require your advice. I've got a 1 year tourist visa (because I'm of Thai decent) and I'm a German citizen.

My 90 days report is at 8 January 2015. I've sent the complete reporting stuff via registered mail on 15 December 2014. It arrived at Chaeng Wattana 1-2 days after.

Now I wanted to know, when will I get to hear anything from immigration??

As stated on their website, if I won't hear anything from them at all, I should "contact" them. Contact them, as in going there by myself (Jesus Christ!)??

Are they reliable in that matter, meaning sending out the confirmation letters back to the immigrants- us?

I've never done that before and I really wonder when I get the letter from them...

Thanks

They are very reliable. Advice is to contact them after 30 days if you didn't get something back, with your receipt of sending. They will than issue a new receipt without any problems. (It is often difficult to contact them by phone, but you can try).

They might process your report on the 8th. But with the holidays both post and immirgaiton will have a back-log.

I think you have a one year extension of stay based upon being a returning Thai national not a tourist visa.

You sent your report to early. The latest notice states it should arrive no earlier than 15 days and no later than 7 days before the report date.

If you have not gotten your receipt within 30 days of your report date their instructions are to contact them. That could by phone or in person.

Thanks.

I've sent it earlier because of the holidays and I wasn't sure to what extend these day-offs would count. So to be sure, I I've sent it earlier.

  • 2 months later...

So?? Jonde. Did you get the form back from Immigration or not??

If so, how long did it take?

And if not, what did you do next?

Hey there,

It took around 3-6 days after the 8th January 2015. Basically a week. I received the letter within timeframe. The papers looked alright. It stated that I have to include the original paper which was sent from the immigration officer. They wrote my address in Thai for me on the letter...

All in all it was reliable. I've done my 2nd reporting by now by registered mail again. I should get an answer by this or next week.
