He immediately appealed and was released on bail." Appealed what? He admitted rape, he was appealing the 5 year term? slapout
either some one is not releasing info on his having served prison time or not, or someone is just not digging to get the question answered. in the first case it should be a matter of public record/info, including appeal judgement, etc. it is just amazing what info can be lost in this country or is not released for public review. many of those involved in these types of ''no info avilable'', must have a portable gps system attached to their person to find their way back home after being taken to work by some chartable, caring individual. LukDod
And typical of the Thai justice system, especially when involving the famous or wealthy, the driver of the Honda Jazz will likely be at fault for being in Methas' way...

Popular Post inzman
The sad reality in this country is that there are two sets of law, one for the poor and one for the rich. Unfortunately the law for the rich is that they do not suffer from their actions. The poor have no real justice. It is a third world country after all.

peterdarby
The rape was not his first offence: http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P1-27086699.html The Nation (Thailand) 06-15-2000TEEN model Methas Suansri, who is currently serving two year's probation for raping a girl less than 15 years old, may face an extended probation period. And he could soon be in court again, this time as an adult, if charges are laid following a complaint about him assaulting a man at a nightclub. Nonthaburi's Observation and Protection Center probation official, Panida Boonsuwan, said yesterday Methas was likely to have his probation extended whether he assaulted the man or not - he would be punished for going out at night by Nonthaburi Juvenile and Family Court. alocacoc
Just another stupid idiot who believes he is someone He IS someone in the Thai culture. He makes a lot of money. How can someone make more face in Thailand?
Popular Post GAZZPA
He was charged with rape and then appealed? What did he appeal against, his own confession? Did he think that confessing would get him off a jail term and suddenly had the realisation that he was going down for it? Like 99% of everything that doesn't make sense in Thailand I suspect money is behind the confusing outcome. It makes me sick, especially in the case of raping a young girl,, Thai people should hold their heads in shame that this kind of thing is so open in their society.

JacChang
After thorough investigation and dna sampling, it was concluded the Honda Jazz driver was not wearing a helmet and was driving at a speed too slow causing traffic jam. And Thailand wonders why it has problems when the hiso elite are simply above the law regardless of the crime.
