I am currently here on a 60 day tourist visa which I got from the Thai Embassy in London, UK. I need to get a 30 day extension, and was wondering if it is possible to get the extension from the immigration office here in Nongkhai, or do I have to visit the Thai embassy in Laos. Any advice from those in the know would be much appreciated.

You apply at Immigration in Nong Khai

You can apply for the extension at the immigration office in Nong Khai for a fee of 1900 baht.

    Just returned from Nongkhai Immigration with my 30 day extension. Very quick and hastle free. Good service from the Nongkhai Immigration Office.
