I've been informed on good authority that obtaining my 400k bank letter a fewday days prior to actually making the visa (CW BKK) is fine, just update the book and get a photocopy of it on the day downstairs.

I have my doubts although this guy is solid, he may also have inside track for a bit of flexibility.

He wants me to get the letter Fri for use presumably Mon (Tues if pressed).

*Est how long will it take them to draw up the letter (scb)? An hour or half day? Thailand can be so slow or immediate, no idea.

You can get the letter on the day you apply. Most banks have branches in the basement at CW. They are familiar with doing the letter and get them done on while you wait.

If not you can do it the day before but no longer than that at CW. How long it takes will depend upon your bank or the branch you go to.

Thanks Joe. Its all such a clusterfkuc I think I will just wait and be at their door downstairs at opening. Wife cant arrive till 0930 anyway.
