mamboze
Hi, I have a non-immigrant O visa issued on 5 Nov 2013. I had had one 90 day extension which ends on 29 Jan 2015. Is it possible to get another 90 day extension at Mae Sai? If not, what are my options? Thanks in anticipation.
Mario2008
It seems you had a multiple non-o visa, which is valid for 1 year. During the validity of the visa you can leave and re-enter Thailand as many times as you want, each time you enter Thailand you can stay for up to 90 days. Your visa has now expired, so you can no longer leave and re-enter on it. If you are married to a Thai national you can get a 60 day extension. ubonjoe
If your visa was issued in November of 2013 it is already expired. You will not be able to get another 90 day entry from it. If you are married to Thai or are the parent of a Thai you can apply for a 60 day extension at an immigration office to visit them.
mamboze
Hi, thanks for the information. I am married to a Thai but she is living in Australia (she's also an Australian citizen). How can it be arranged for me to get a 60 day extension? Is it possible?
Mario2008
The 60 day extension is only possible if she visits immigration with you.
Gonsalviz
You can apply for a new Non O on the basis of marriage by yourself at Savannakhet with no proof of income if you have all the documents. Original Marriage Cert and copy. WifesTabien Ban copy, National ID card copy. All copies need to be signed by your wife. There are ways around the signatures. Your Passport copy, Laos visa copy pictures Visa application form and 5000 Baht. Posted somewhere on here is a comprehensive list.
