jamiesmith
When it comes time to renew my marriage visa can I use my wife's salary as proof of funds to immigration such as the 40k baht monthly income requirement?
beechguy
No, it needs to be your income, or 400K in the bank. Some questions like this, have been discussed numerous times, and more information can be found using the search function. Also, the Pinned Topics Section has some very good basic information. digitalchromakey
As posted above the regulations specifically exclude a Thai wife's income from consideration: National Police Order 327 2557 Case 2.18 (6) In the case of marriage to a Thai woman, the alien husband must earn an average annual income of no less than Baht 40,000 per month or must have no less than Baht 400,000 in a bank account in Thailand for the past two months to cover expenses for one year.
Popular Post ubonjoe
No your money, your account for the 400,000 baht as well if going that route There is no requirement that the 400k baht has to yours nor need for proof of that. I just has to be in an account in your name only.

Mario2008
Money does not have to come from abroad, including money in the bank. (Only when you apply for a conversion can they ask of proof that the money in the bank comes from abroad)

The only time proof is needed for it coming outside the country is if applying a conversion to a non immigrant visa, That is because the money only has to be in the bank on the date of application. I also gave places to look, for factual information. If that was over your head, I apologize, then again, that probably didn't take very much.
