Akha man arrested for supplying over 100 boys to American pedophile

CHIANG RAI: -- Police have arrested an Akha man for having allegedly supplying over 100 boys, most street children, to a 61-year-old American to have sex with.

The American, Thomas Gary, was arrested with cooperation from the US Federation Bureau of Investigation on in September. He implicated Ayo Ahcho, 23.

Police arrested the Akha at a border village in Chiang Rai on Tuesday. He admitted having supplied over 100 boys to Gary.

I hope Thomas Gary gets at least 10 years in a federal pen. I hope he meets a lot of nice men in there, who are willing to return the favor, and make him their girlfriend. He will get to feel the joys of having a super freak work him good. He is well deserving of that treatment, if indeed he is guilty of this incredibly heinous crime.

Excuse me.... you make an assumption as to who was on "top" of whom.... he could well be in his element in jail... and you have to pay for his bed and dinner!!!!

Ten years is hardly a fitting punishment for a grown man scarring a bunch of kids for life.

Life in prison with a roommate named BUCK is more fitting. Good for the FBI to nail the bastard.

I suppose a Thai jail might be better. But, when an American is charged with these crimes, the U.S. Attorney general gets involved. They love this stuff. So, more than likely it will be a US Federal prison. Just as bad. He will have to deal with the gangs. And he will become a girlfriend to guys that I can assure you he will not enjoy being with. And life in prison would be even better. The numbers might help to get him more time.

Why are there n o photos and why is this not a "must read"?

I hope the Akha man and that swine Gary will feel all the pain, emotionally and physically, they have caused those little boys once their lights go out what hopefully will be soon.

Knowing that maximum they will get is a prison sentence and that at some day both of then will roam the streets again makes me sick to my stomach.

Wouldn't it be pure bliss if they get beaten to death in Bangkok Hilton?

There is actually a Federal Prison in Arizona specifically designated for "child molesters" rapists, child internet porn and other sexual offenders charged under US Federal Statues.


So, he will be in the company of his fellow molesters.

Whatever prison he goes to, if it is like in the UK (as soft as they are) the inmates hate child molesters and their kind. So put him in general population and let thee rest of the inmates know what he is in for.

He wouldnt last a week

I am constantly amazed at how quickly people in Thailand confess their crimes. I don't know why they even need a court system except to hand down sentences.

It's called plea bargaining and they do it here too. If you confess they reduce the charge or the judge reduces the sentence. Same result. Less time in pokey and in some cases a promise of bail is negotiated, so you can escape to North, east or west, after you pay off the correct people. Comes with a free case of Red Bull.

I think I understand what you were trying to say, but you really should have been more careful with your wording, as there really is no comparison in the repugnancy stakes.

Parents should be more open with their children - encourage them to speak up about bad things that may be happening to them. If so, then perhaps there wouldn't have been so many victimized in this case - if the initial kids had been able to speak up - and the parents be aware, and listen. Too often, there are signs, and the parents aren't sensitive to reading them and/or the kid tries to speak up, but the parents discount the little voice.

I'm not a sociologist, but here's one little test to gauge whether your young child is having a problem with someone older:

Pick a time when all are relaxed, perhaps after dinner. Mention to the child, "so 'n so is coming to visit." (So 'n so is the person's name or specific description, if name not known). Look at the kid - for reaction. If no reaction, mention similar again, but say, "So 'n So is in the next room and he wants to see you." Look again for reaction. If child smiles or giggles, or continues to act nonplussed, then there's nothing to worry about. If, however, there's a bad reaction by child, then it could indicate problems.

Thai police working with the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation have arrested a man for procuring more than 100 boys over the past three years for an alleged American pedophile in northern Thailand, police said on Friday. Ayo Ahcho, a 23-year-old from the Akha hill tribe, was arrested on Tuesday in a border village in the Mae Fah Luang district of Chiang Rai province and charged with human trafficking, said Lt. Col. Apichart Hattasin of Thailand's northern region police.

Police said Ayo had been supplying boys to be sexually abused by 61-year-old Thomas Gary, who had been coming and going from Thailand for 20 years and was arrested on Sept. 13 and charged with the sexual abuse of minors. Ayo himself had been having sex with Gary for three months, and Gary later provided Ayo with a room in the Chiang Mai guesthouse where he stayed and paid him 1,000 baht a day to work as his "servant", Apichart said.

Ayo would pick up boys ranging in age from 13 to 18 for Gary every other day or so, usually vulnerable children and orphans from the streets or from video game Internet cafes in Chiang Mai, the police officer said.
