Yes I know that is the official version. However last month at Jomtien they told my friend the income letter could not be more than 1 month old. I was hoping someone had been recently and could confirm this.

Jomtien is 6 months because they go by a directive that was made in June of 2013 making it 6 months. I have never seen a report of anybody being told differently. Your friend just asked an officer that did not know the rules.
