Hi - I am in a bit of a panic. I missed my flight yesterday which was the last day of my 30 day visa exempt stay and now I am flying to KL but will be exiting one day late. I am going to apply for a non b visa for a new job and I am worried that they may refuse the application due to this overstay?

Can anyone advise me if it is likely to be a problem as I will probably lose the job if I dont get it this week.

An overstay of one day or even many days would not be a problem.

Just left Thailand last night with a two days overstay it was no problem the guy told me that I had over stayed but it was fine

It will be no problem at all. Simply tell them you missed your flight and pay 500 baht.

My wife and I left via Bankok airport Sunday 11th. Both 1 day over ; Passport control noticed but let us through without extra charge.

Don't panic, you will be given a Non B. With just one day over stay, there is no problem.
