Engineering is a profession with two systems of entry. Either you do a degree or you work and go to college part time and do different papers which can bring you up to degree level. This system is normal in the Armed Forces and heavy industry.

Employers know what's what.

Bikey employers would always prefer to employ someone that has worked since 16 and studied rather than someone who just popped out of university in their 20's with zero practical experience. Unless they are looking for someone specific like a specialized designer.

Clearly you know nothing about any of the professions or the courses, and the career opportunities that are available worldwide. I certainly don't know of any 2 year degree in any of those professions, in fact most are 4 years.
