It was in the Thai news today that the son of the gangster granny is actually a police lieutenant colonel and he's been ordered by his superiors to take her in for 'treatment' to a psychiatric hospital. She was forcing herself on customers in Nakhon Pathom's Sompop Market in Sam Phran district.

Interesting how the other street vendor who is probably her neighbour since i think his stall is next to hers took so long to intervene.

That's about the gist of it. People are kind of coerced and embarrassed into paying up to get out of the situation.

There's another video of her on Youtube showing bruises on her legs where some customer has presumably resisted the offer of flowers forcefully.

Latest is that her daughter came down yesterday and has taken her up to Ratchaburi to live with her.
