Does anyone know if an extension of a non o has a salary requirement? Despite teachers being exempt from the B salary requirement. I read something somewhere than min salary for extens was 40k.

For an extension of stay based upon marriage you need to show an income of 40k baht or 400k baht in the bank.

It is not a salary requirement per say it is the minimum to get the extension because the income can come from pensions and etc.

There is no minimum salary for teaching.

to get a yearly extension based on marriage of a non imm 'O' visa, you must have either 400,000 baht in a bank account in Thailand in your name or an income of 40.000 baht per month, a work permit can be obtained with this type of extension.
