6 Months Validity For Passport now?

Featured Replies

Hi,

How about 6 month validity passport at this time?

My entering to Thai country will be 24th on January like a tourist (less then 30 days stay there). But my (non biometric) passport exipred 15th of July 2015, it's 7 days less then required 6 month after the first entering to the country. I have unchanged flight reservation with returning in 14th on February.

On internet are some information about new regulatory rules, but 100% answer for this question I didn't find.

Can I expect problems with immigration officers?

Thank you so much for your experiences.

David

Really? But our Thai embassy in Prague (I'm from Czech republic) warned me strictly to keep this 6 month period. Oh my god sad.png

...but according your posted link it looks good for me:

Passport required.
- Passports issued to nationals of Czech Rep. must be valid
for the period of intended stay.
- for holders of normal passports;
- Emergency and temporary passports issued to nationals of
Czech Rep. must be valid for at least 6 months from date of
arrival.
Thank you so much!
