Just send copies anyway, saves a bit of time

I've gone to Boston the last three years in a row. Just needed 2 pics a completed app and a money order for $80 double or $120 triple entry. She hand writes the visa and gives me back my passport with it in 10 minutes and I'm out of there. Do not walk in. Just make appointment a few weeks ahead of time. Easy

U.K. No. That was October.

I just got a single entry visa in Brisbane and they want to see a copy of your confirmed airline ticket. Nothing about a return needed.

asked me for everything and wanted to see everything they could, to get a Tourist Visa, strict by the book,

some years ago.

Also they saw I had children with a Thai woman in TH (Birth certificate

and was there to apply for a Non Immigrant O. (Denied)

It had been my most unfriendly experience regarding Thai Immigrations or Consular sections I visited.

in france you need an official bank statement with 1000 € and a return or onward ticket within 60 days

Anyway,

that Thai Consular section in Singapore, managed from 2 rough style women at that time,

declined my application for a Non Immi O, reason for Non Immi = Thai children.

Wanted some more papers, not only birth certificate with my name.

They changed my application to Tourist Visa,

asked me for a ticket -I think, into Thailand? And to show the 20.000.- Baht which I could,

with a just recently updated Bank book from a Thai Bank.

It was a Thursday and I was lucky to have ticket and money in order to prove, with me.

Otherwise, I would have been stuck there over the weekend.

I could pick up my Tourist Visa on the next day.

Thanks for replying Alfredo. Please make it clear. So the thai embassy will inform you right away (during the short interview) they won't issue visa?

If they don't want to give you a visa they will not even accept the application so no fee is paid.

But they have indicated on their website that fee is non refundable

You will not pay a fee unless they accept your application as I said.

Visas are seldom if ever denied after you pay the fee.

London embassy did not require either tickets or financial for Tourist Visa

Yeah, London embassy just fill in simple form and send them money 3 - 4 days passport back with visa
