Going to Vientiane this month, what are the current requirements for the TVx2? I arrive on a Sunday, how is the Monday rush this time of year? I am in no hurry, so plan to just arrive before noon and bring a book.

Are hotels all booked up this time of year? Might book a room off agoda.

Monday is a busy day all the time because it is visa run van day. You need to be there before 11:30.

All that is needed is your passport, a completed application form with 2 attached photos and 2000 baht for the visa.

It should not be hard to find a room.

You can fill out that form for the VOA and see if they will accept it.

So how does a multiple entry tourist visa work exactly?

I know for a single entry you get 60 days in the Kingdom but what do you get with double entry? 2 times 60 days? Can you just hop a border after the first 60 days? Do I HAVE to use the second entry?

I will be trying to obtain a tourist visa in Vientiane next week, my non-imm visa will expire so I have to change it to Tourist, will they ask for a ticket out of Thailand?
