Thai govt set to move beggars from streets on sustainable basis

now if the Thai govt was set to move the aggressive intimidating thai drunks from the day time streets that would be a real step forward.

If I recall right, the police and/or the Bangkok BMA government about a year ago or so announced a similar kind of campaign to remove beggars from the streets.

Whatever they did seemed to make a difference for a week or two, and then, back to beggars galore.

The current favorite seems to be young-ish women with babies or toddlers in arms or sleeping on mats on the sidewalk. The mothers ought to be arrested just for doing that and/or have their children taken away for intentional child neglect.

WHAT NEED SOMETHING TO DO...ARE THERE NOT OTHER MORE SERIOUS ISSUES TO APPROACH...coffee1.gif
