January 24, 201511 yr Best way for 2 people...And any companies offering resident discounts? Don't mind slower boats or groups but those speedboats with 40 ppl packed in don't appeal ...
January 24, 201511 yr Seatran were advertising that the park would be open sometime this week, around the 25th I think. They have the nice boats.
January 24, 201511 yr If you have the means, charter your own boat ...... go stay, leave, arrive as you like.
January 24, 201511 yr Seatrans Discovery is a first class boat. Not cheap. If you work in the hospitality industry here talk to their sales staff about a discount or familiarization trip (the latter probably only available to hotel management and activities staff).
January 24, 201511 yr Grandsea Adventure Tours, also has the multi - people boats, around 2000 baht PP. Probably a discount if you don't require pick up and drop off service! I believe GS offers a private boat service ... but will be expensive for just two people... They have offices in Maenam on Soi 4 toward the water (traffic light) also in office Banrak. Go and inquire! Entrance few to the park is 200 baht per person unless changed since October... It's a whole different world in the Marine park Really it is not that bad on the boats, I always find sitting in the back is best! for some pics look at post 558 > in photo section! http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/125263-images-of-samui-phangan-and-tao/page-23 Here is a web page link ....for Grandsea.. http://www.grandseatours.com/

January 24, 201511 yr Samui boat charter in Fisherman's village does Anthong trip. Not cheap, but they only take about 12-14 people on a boat built for 3 times that. About 4,000THB per person I think. Includes drinks, snacks and lunch
January 28, 201511 yr 100 degrees east tour company also do vip trips with limited people rated very highly blue stars kayaking is also a good trip if you like some extra kayaking
March 13, 201511 yr I just found out today, that the entrance fee to the Marine Park is now 300 baht... added to the boat fees for which ever company one uses to get there... Currently we are still in "high season" so prices are up with the boat companies ...! It's a beautiful and worth while trip... and as popular as ever!
