They are making up a load of cobblers Its Moutinho all the way if we can strike a deal. His 'escape clause' apparently is 40 mil euro's,to me makes him expensive, and not so straight forward a deal he's only part owned by porto which is apparently why they can afford these players in the first place. levy will have his work cut out. All thats true i agree but we are still going shit or bust for this guy. We have defensive midfield in abundance as we do attacking ones in Siggy and VDV. Moutinho is spot on for what we need. Personally i wouldn't sell either, but if rodgers were to come in and bid good money, backed and as i said with 1st team footbal,l with vb presumably wanting to rebuild, well who knows lets just .hope it's like the huddleston rumour. Therein lies the problem....I can't understand why he hasn't been sold....but I said the same two years ago about Bale. Hopefully that's a good omen for him this season.... The interesting point AVB made was about Porto....in saying he knows the club and how they operate....no player is sold under market value and they will not be rushed or cajoled into a transfer. I'll stick by what i said yesterday. I think we have to score first. Then its down to AVB making the right decisions. He can also demonstrate shrewd tactics that we have been lacking for a while now. We can nick this 1-0. Convinced we'll play Sandro, Alf in a 4-2-3-1 Kaboul and vertoghen at cb. Other than this who knows! Im just praying we won't have another cursed Samui power cut that we are getting every night at the mo. I wonder what AVB thinks of his Hudd, Livermore, Jenas midfield options.
