This is a few hundred seats out of 62000 however to put it into proper context...no existing season ticket holder is being forced to pay that amount.

Surely the way to pay the fans back for the loyalty and patience during this build phase / inconvenience of wembley would have been to maintain the prices of 2016/17 with a minimum increase (for cost of living, etc). A case of your owner taking advantage of decent football fans.

We don't have a never ending final drip and have to balance the books.  Most fans are well aware that a new stadium and new players, increased wages (bought on by rich clubs hiking up wages) come at a price and are understanding with the season ticket increases.  Some tight wads are not.

 

Clubs like City and PSG are a cartoon like anomaly that don't function like normal clubs due to the immense wealth of their owners.

 

To start going on about being taken advantage of is just nonsensical and a little childish.

If prospective new season ticket holders don't want them it will pass down to the other 60000 fans on the waiting list.

Further to that there are always tickets available on a single game for a reasonable price to those of us who are members....either through the website or other fans we know.

So it seems that you 2, unlike all the spurs fans I've been reading about (including your very own Supporters Trust - see below) who are unhappy with the increased prices for this coming season, are ok with your Owner's greedy policy that is trying to cash in by increasing supporters costs by 25, 40 or 50%! Facking typical!

At the same time, they wanted a new stadium that was financially accessible to existing and future fans in an era in which elite football is awash with money. We believe those expectations were realistic and, as a Trust, we sought to reflect that feeling, and to engage in genuine discussion with the Club in order to secure a good deal for fans.

We were given headline pricing minutes before the Club announcement went live yesterday. So we knew the cheapest GA tickets and the most expensive were comparable to prices at White Hart Lane. But as we digested the detail, it soon became clear those headline prices masked a different reality.

On reviewing the price plan, there are only 9 areas priced below £950. We have asked the Club to confirm the number of seats within the lower price bands and they are yet to respond. There is significant upward price migration at price points between the cheapest and most expensive. Some fans are facing increases of 25, 40 or 50% in their usual seating areas which, even taking into account the improved facilities, will be beyond many, whether they are longstanding season ticket holders or whether they signed up for the first time for the year at Wembley. The vast majority of fans go to football for the football, not for the facilities.

Many fans are now having to reconsider their seating options, scattering groups who’ve long sat together.

There are 15 different price points, an over complex system that allows attractive headline claims to be made but which mask the price rises many will now face. Fans are genuinely worried about the availability of tickets at prices they can afford in the later priority windows.

The South ‘home’ stand has been promoted as the focus for atmosphere, yet most tickets are priced around the £1,000 mark. And sections of premium-lite tickets at £2,200 do not sit comfortably with the stated aims of this stand.

We are pleased the Club listened to our argument for concessions to be available all around the ground, although we would have preferred this offer to have been made available at all price points rather than to just those seats priced under £1125. This still provides a far wider choice than the historic policy of only offering concessions in the North Stand. The introduction of a Young Adult category is a very positive step.

We also argued for a stretch pricing policy, where the very substantial number of premium tickets would enable cheaper prices to be offered to those fans who could least afford to attend matches. In reality, those who held the cheapest tickets at either White Hart Lane or Wembley are facing very large increases in prices. Although not announced yet, single match general admission prices will inevitably have to follow suit.

The Club believes it will fill the stadium with this pricing policy. That may well be the case in our first season with a successful, entertaining team but the novelty may wear off after the first season, particularly if performance on the pitch falls short. With fans already contacting us saying they are priced out, we cannot view this as anything other than a missed opportunity.

To be fair, i think Daniels been on here and seen BJ's comment that the new stadium could ruin us and BB's comment "it would seem normal to have to curtail spending on players, etc, until such times as costs have been controlled, therefore the current team may have peaked as either players may need to be sold to get money to pay off the stadium costs or maybe no major signings in the next few seasons" and thought "crikey" we'd better put the prices up otherwise we are going to go broke !!!

Yeah, 3 out of 3 for the Spurs players penalty shoot out, looks like it was Jamie Vardy & Jessie Lingard that bottled it, although I was bottling it when Dier had to step up for the last one ?

Dier didn't have a good game but when it came to the penalty he had the look  and wasn't going to bottle.

 

I was also really impressed with Davinson Sanchez.  For a mere 21yo, he's a remarkably good player already.

Could be said  he Already is carms.. toby prior injury was generally rated as one of if not the top cb in the prem and post injury he couldnt get his place bac from him .. possibly had a touch to do with toby not wantin to sign a new deal .. but even so....the kids done good
