davejonesbkk
Can someone tell me what the normal rate is for staff/labour to plaster walls of a new house inside and out? I have been quoted a rate if 60 baht per square metre which seems expensive to me. thanks

IMHO
If that is labor only, that equates to ~300-360 baht per lineal meter, which seems a little on the expensive side to me - an experienced worker is going to earn that much per day, and they can for sure cover way more than just 5-6 sqm/day. Perhaps you should explore a daily rate per worker instead? Note: if that price includes materials, it's very good though.
davejonesbkk
Ok thanks, no doesnt include materials. Its already done now anyway, apparently it was priced like this instead of daily as then they would hopefully get it done faster. It was a total of 86 sqm and took 2 guys 5 days to do it.
