British Man killed in South Pattaya Road Crash

Were there warning triangles placed behind the truck at a sufficient distance?

Hazard lights on or not, 'parking' in the right hand lane surely is not permitted.....putting up advertising boards is not excuse enough.

How many lives must be lost because of such idiocy.

I'm a motorcyclist, and one that drives big bikes, sometime at speed.

That being said, there is little excuse for rear ending a parked vehicle.

One without lights, stationary in the overtaking lane, near a bend could well catch you one day, care out there.

Brief distraction causing you to look down or away. dog, stone hitting you in the visor, going round a slow vehicle and coming across a big truck parked on the right hand side of the carriageway (fast lane if you like) with no lights on?

Don't know what happened but these things do happen.

Used to ride a lot myself also.

Whatever happened to the rule that 'you ride (drive) at a speed that enables you to stop in the distance that you can see to be clear' ?
