Guitar teacher in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My 11 year old (girl) wishes to learn the Guitar. She is musically inclined, but no musical instrument experience.

Any recommendations of good schools, individuals etc in the Pattaya area.

Probably 1 on 1 teaching would be better for her.

many thanks.

There is a large musical instrument shop on the East side of Sukhamvit at the traffic lights at Tesco, Theprasit road.

My Thai GF told me they give lessons for all types of instruments.

One should never assume but I guess your daughter is half Thai and speaks Thai if so she should be Ok there ?

I bought a guitar there for a friends daughter and the staff were very helpful but I had the GF with me to translate.

I will admit I know nothing about playing any musical instrument, but the guitar I got was excellent. Half size Yamaha acoustic for around 6,000 baht if I remember rightly with a soft case.

Name of the company is Suriya music, big Yamaha sign, diagonally across from outlet malls. Does she already have a guitar? Which part of Pattaya do you live in? Also a decent shop up in North Pattaya near Day Night Hotel, maybe they have lessons. Could check Craigs list too perhaps...
