Featured Replies

A Japanese woman was shot at during a botched bag snatching in Phnom Penh yesterday. Mutsumi Oyoshi, 38, was crossing the road to board a bus to Ho Chi Minh with her Vietnamese husband at about 2pm in Chamkarmon district when the incident took place, said deputy city police chief Chuon Narin.

“The two suspects could not steal her bag. They got into a fight [with her], so they fired the gun twice. One bullet missed her and the other one grazed her stomach,” he said.Oyoshi was sent to Calmette Hospital before returning to her guesthouse. Police are now searching for the suspects.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

Wow. In broad daylight? Is PP getting as dangerous as Mexico City, Cali or Rio?

Rules of thumb:

* Carry your valuables inside your clothing money belt or secret pockets sewn inside your clothes.

*Carry $10 in your pocket or purse, so any armed robber won't be pissed off.

* SHUT UP AND GIVE THEM THE MONEY. Your life isn't worth $10 and a rectangular plastic phone.
